Yost ("we", "us", "our") operates youonset.ca. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you create an account we collect your email address, username, and display name. When you use the app we store your booking information (production names, dates, call times, job types) and your social connections (friends, favourites). If you upload a profile picture it is stored on our servers. We do not collect payment information.
Your data is used solely to operate the Yost service — to show your bookings on your calendar, to let friends see your availability, and to send account-related emails such as verification and password resets. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase (supabase.com) and Hetzner Cloud (hetzner.com), both of which operate infrastructure in the European Union and comply with GDPR. Profile pictures are stored in Supabase Storage.
We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies ourselves. Google AdSense, which we use to display advertisements, may set its own cookies for ad personalisation. You can opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase (authentication and database), Brevo (transactional email), and Google AdSense (advertising). Each has their own privacy policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (available directly in Profile Settings → Delete Account), restrict processing, and data portability.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Yost is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
